An implementation partner’s handoff checklist
Define scope, access and acceptance before migrating a property business.
Agree the scope
Name the company, branches, modules and records in scope. Identify the business owner who approves the migration. An enquiry does not confer PropertyFlow certification or endorsement.
Control access
Use individual accounts and only the required company and section access. Never share administrator credentials. API keys should have narrow scopes and a documented owner, expiry and revocation process.
Prepare the source
Inventory the property, unit, contact, lease and financial files. Confirm who can authorise their use. Clean duplicates without deleting the original source and agree opening balances with the accountant.
Test the handoff
Preview imports, reconcile sample records and review money totals. Capture exception decisions. Check that staff and portal users see only the records intended for them.
Accept and support
The client should sign off the agreed checks, outstanding issues and rollback plan. Record who handles support, training and future changes. External messaging, payments and property-feed services need their own approved connections.
