Arrears
An amount that remains unpaid after it has become due.
Arrears are overdue obligations. A tenant may have several invoices with different due dates, so the total balance and the overdue balance are not necessarily the same.
Ageing groups unpaid amounts by how long they have been overdue. Read the selected reporting date and currency before comparing periods.
In PropertyFlow, outstanding invoice amounts are calculated after confirmed payments and immutable credit notes. A payment reported by a tenant still needs staff confirmation.
